In summer driving in high temperatures can be a bad experience. It is best to drive with a temperature of approximately 20ºC inside the vehicle, but there may be occasions when the car’s air conditioning does not cool. What is there to do then? Why is cold air not coming out of the car?
The first thing you should do is make an appointment in our workshop and we will help you find the fault that prevents cold air from coming out.
Why doesn’t my car air conditioner cool down?
There are several reasons why the air conditioning in your car does not cool, all of them related to the incorrect operation of the circuit, either due to a breakdown or a leak in the system. Some of the reasons why the air conditioning of the car does not cool are these: clogged filter, lack of gas or leak.
It is possible that the cabin filter is clogged by accumulated dirt, and is not letting air through properly. The solution for this problem is the change of the cartridge corresponding to the air filter.
Another problem may be the lack of gas in the circuit, so it will be necessary to refill gas.
We check the car’s air conditioning
At Romauto Reparaciones we take care of checking the air conditioning of your vehicle and the charge of the car air conditioning.
In our reviews, we check the operation of the entire air conditioning system: pressures, interior temperature of the passenger compartment, starting the compressor, the air conditioning belt and the condition of the cabin filter.
